Every five years the Ministry of Education in Syria publish a book named
“ Arab Modern History ” to be teached in high schools.
Sami Moubayed a Syrian Historian specialized in the pre-Baathism era (1900-1960) wrote an article criticizing the way most of the historical facts were presented in the book.
In his short article he counted 22 parts of the book, where certain
political figures and events were manipulated.
