Mohamad Halbouni, new media artist (b. 1993 Syria) lives and works in Berlin. He studied in Damascus university of Arts from 2012-2015 and obtained a diploma in arts from Weißensee kunsthochschule Berlin. 
Halbouni focuses on collective work and interactive media, addressing issues such as racism, stereotyping, power structures, and the exploration of Exile and migration experiences. He has exhibited works, mostly in a collective framework in Humboldt Forum, Documenta 15, nGbK Berlin, Sophiensäle, Maxim Gorki theater and 10th Berlin Biennale. Mohamad has worked as a tutor and co-teacher 2019-2022 in Weißensee Kunsthochschule Berlin in the *foundationClass program, supporting people with migration background in their application process to German art schools.
